From Casula Powerhouse Art Centre Facebook site:
“We are delighted to reveal another artist who will be part of the 'Guarding the Home Front' exhibition at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre in 2015. Freya Jobbins is a local artist whose son, David, was in the army and deployed for quite some time. Her work, 'Someone's Son II' (2014) is a series of small prints, each featuring the first name and age of 40 Australian Soldiers who had died in Afghanistan. This very personal work is different to what Freya is better known for - her whacky humanoid busts and portraits, made from discarded children's toys.”

The MUSEUM OF CHILDHOOD MEMORY has won the 2014 Sculpture in the Vineyard. A site specific outdoor sculpture exhibition held in Wollombi NSW, judged by artist Janet Lawrence and curator Meryl Ryan. The MUSEUM OF CHILDHOOD MEMORY won from 75 entries , which were installed over three vineyards.
